Tim and Patsy Fogarty started Fogarty's Garage after purchasing a shell of a building. Working very hard to clean up the grounds and rebuilding the entire inside from concrete floors to ceiling they opened their doors on June 1, 1988. Before they even had the doors officially opened they had customers coming in wondering if they were open enough to fix a tire or do a sm all engine repair. Of course, they obliged, and business was off and running with Patsy in the office and Tim and two employees in the shop.
Fogarty's Garage was Pontiac's first "no appointment" quick oil change station, with an in-ground pit, fitting two vehicles on it at a time.

Supporting the community

All you had to do was bring your car in and in a matter of minutes, you’d get a quality oil change and complimentary vehicle inspection. Our technicians made it a point to look for anything that might be getting ready to break or anything that might be leaking. They would check everything including all lights, fluid levels, tire wear and pressure, belts and hoses, air cleaners, etc., all as a part of the routine oil change, including a free washer fluid refill.
Over the years, Fogarty’s Garage earned a reputation for quality auto/truck maintenance, and proved to be a friend to the farming community with “ in the field” tire service and towing.

Tim and Patsy Fogarty hold one of the many trophies to be given away at thte Antique and Classic Car Show held Saturday as part of Hang Loose.
