Alignment refers to an adjustment or adjustments of a vehicle's suspension, the system that connects a vehicle to its wheels, to the car manufacturer specifications. It is not an adjustment of the tires or wheels themselves. The key to a proper alignment is making adjustments to the vehicle for the required angles of which the tires make contact with the road. The primary angles are the basic alignment angles of the wheels relative to each other and to the car body. These adjustments are the camber angle, caster angle and toe angle. On some cars, not all of these can be adjusted on every wheel.
